Committees

Committee Formation
The board may create committees as needed, such as fundraising, project development, research studies, etc. During general assembly, the members may also elect the committee offices including Church Committee, Advising Committee, Planning Committee, Educational Committee, Electoral Committee and Web Development Committee by a majority vote. The board shall assign duties to committees on the basis of ASCs needs. Refer to Section 4.3. No committee member shall hold office for more than three terms. The duration of each term is two years.

Church Committee

Church Committee is responsible for anything concerning church service. Church Committee help is needed both spiritually, educational, economically and physically. Church committee shall take part in targeting donors.

Advising Committee
Advising Committee advises the boards, officers, committees and members to follow principles and by-laws of Ajuong Sudanese Community.

Planning Committee
Planning Committee shall help the Board of Directors in planning, designing, and implementing the task force.

Education Committee
Education Committee shall deal with educational activities and funding.

Electoral Committee
The Electoral Committee shall consist of five (5) members, board and members at large. The board and members shall form the committee three months before Election Day. Electoral commissioner shall be the head of Electoral Committee and shall be elected from five (5) members of Electoral Committee by the board. Electoral Commissioner is responsible for overseeing the election. The Electoral Committee must make sure that elections are done fairly within a reasonable time. Electoral Committee shall supplementarily determine polling place and supervise the voting process. Further stipulations shall be assigned if needed according to By-laws.

Web Development Committee
Web Development Committee shall keep Ajuong Sudanese Community updated on technology, maintain Ajuong Sudanese Community web site and promote ASC on the web.
